Yes. All jewellery images and client details are treated as strictly confidential and protected from unauthorised access. Photos are used only for the retouching work requested, and are never shared with third parties.

he client is the sole owner of the images, and photos are never used or shared without permission. With explicit consent, finished images may be shown in the portfolio — anonymously if preferred — to demonstrate retouching quality.
Additional revisions can be requested at any time. Adjustments to the retouched jewellery photos are made with every effort to deliver the result you expect.
Invoices are usually sent after the jewellery photos are retouched and delivered. A 50% deposit is required for orders of more than 20 images, or for high-quality and complex retouching.

Higher-level jewellery retouching requires much more attention to detail and meticulous editing to produce refined results, taking more time and effort from the most experienced team members. All retouching quotes are based on the jewellery item’s complexity, quality, and the pixel size of the original photo.
Retouched jewellery images are returned in the format you require — JPEG for web use, TIFF or PSD for print — with the size, name and type you specify. If you are unsure which format suits your needs, get in touch.
Turnaround depends on order size:
Up to 10 images — within 48 hours
20–50 images — within 10 days
Larger or more complex orders — turnaround is agreed with you before work begins
All common formats are accepted — RAW, JPEG, TIFF and PSD, or any existing image file. RAW files are processed to a higher level for better results.
The most common edit requests are listed under the appropriate retouch level. Note that the Complete Retouch level covers only what is listed, nothing more. If you are unsure whether to choose E-commerce / Commercial / Vintage / Colour Change Service, please email info@zen-onestudio.com.
No. Photos are accepted from anyone — not only professional photographers. Request your free trial to make sure you are happy with the quality of the edited photos. You understand your needs better than anyone else, so an expensive photographer may never be necessary for your product imaging.

Jewellery Retouching Service-Specific FAQs
Yes. Background colour customisation is a standard feature of the vintage jewellery retouching service. Whether classic pure white for eBay or Amazon is needed, or a specific colour to match a website style, precise, professional results are delivered to the exact specifications.
Yes. The standard jewellery photo editing service includes creating realistic shadows and reflections for each piece, giving vintage or antique jewellery images more depth and artistry.
A jewellery image quality plan sets standards for metal texture, gemstone colour, background tone and crop ratio, then those standards are applied consistently to every image — improving appeal and click-through rates for e-commerce listings.
E-commerce jewellery retouching raises the visual value and appeal of the jewellery, maximising click-through rates while saving time and money over time. The value outweighs the cost.
No photo leaves the camera fully finished. Commercial jewellery retouching takes specialist skill and significant time, so professional photographers use the service to save those hours and focus on growing their client base and business.
Pixel-level detail work repairs jewellery flaws at 100% view — dust spots, scratches, dents, metal reflections and surface texture — one pixel at a time. The result is a flawless surface, crisp clean lines and texture you can almost feel.
Yes. The commercial retouching service includes custom background replacement and creative scene building — refined textures such as marble, fabric and silk, or the jewellery placed naturally on a model’s hand or in real-life settings. The result delivers artistic, commercial impact.
Yellow gold is recommended as the base for colour conversion. White gold has little inherent hue, making it harder to convert.
Can I use the jewellery colour change service to turn gemstones in my images into different colours?
Yes. The jewellery colour change service can convert gemstone colours to the chosen shade — for example, recolouring stones to match the 12 birthstone colours.
Yes. When converting metal colours, the hue, saturation and brightness of the jewellery are carefully controlled while matching the specified colour sample. Every detail is refined to preserve the natural lustre and realistic texture.
